Takes a few minutes for yourself to enjoy coffee from this handmade coffee mug. It’s the perfect size for an americano and flat white. Known as a ship mug, the shape means your tea, coffee or hot chocolate will stay warmer for longer. It’s very huggable too. They are a perfect gift for the coffee lover in your life.

Each piece is intentionally decorated slightly different. Choose between a set of two or four tea mugs; the mugs will be carefully selected by me to create a cohesive set*, a mix of deeper blue and white lines. One or all might have the added detail of objects found in the landscape such as tractors, birds, farmhouses and barns.

Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are full of energy, individuality and serendipity in a classical blue-and-white colour combination (you just can’t beat it). Every detail is thoughtfully considered from the shape of the rim so it’s comfortable to drink from to the pattern on the base.

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with slip coloured with natural oxides. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork. I intentionally decorate each piece differently, embracing the characteristics of handmade objects, to create one-off pieces.

Each piece is fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln

The mugs are dishwasher proof but as with all handmade pieces, they are better washed by hand.
