Sets of stoneware breakfast bowls.

Enjoy your breakfast in the morning, warm soup at lunch or for that delicious crumble you’ve made for pudding at the end of your day. They are a great gift for a wedding, engagement and housewarming, or if you just looking for a unique set of bowls for your kitchen.

Each piece is intentionally decorated slightly different. Choose between a set of two or four tea mugs; the mugs will be carefully selected by me to create a cohesive set*, a mix of deeper blue and white lines. One or all might have the added detail of objects found in the landscape such as tractors, birds, farmhouses and barns.

Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are timeless yet contemporary in a classical blue-and-white colour combination. Every detail is thoughtfully considered; the shape of the bowl is deep making it easier to get that last little piece of apple ccrumble or spoonful of soup.

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with slip coloured with natural oxides. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork.

Each piece is fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln

The bowls are dishwasher proof but as with all handmade pieces, they are better washed by hand.
