Known as a ship mug, the shape keeps your tea or coffee will stay warmer for longer. It’s very huggable and cosy to hold too.

Every detail is thoughtfully considered from the shape of the rim so it’s comfortable to drink from to the pattern on the base. Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are full of energy, individuality and serendipity in an autumnal and contemporary maize yellow.

Designed as set collection set or as a mix and match group, you can choose all the same style or mix it up with an assortment of a deeper yellow and white lines. 

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with yellow slip. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork. I intentionally decorate each piece differently so that each one is unique; know that you will have and use the only piece that looks exactly like this one.  

Some pieces have the added detail of objects found in the landscape such as tractors and barrel-domed barns.

The pots are fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln

The mugs are dishwasher proof but as with all handmade pieces, they are better washed by hand.
