Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are full of energy, individuality and serendipityin an autumnal and contemporary maize yellow. Every detail is thoughtfully considered from the shape of the rim so it’s comfortable to drink from to the pattern on the base.

Designed as set collection set or as a mix and match group, you can choose all the same style or mix it up with an assortment of a deeper yellow and white lines.

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with slip coloured with natural oxides. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork. I intentionally decorate each piece differently, embracing the characteristics of handmade objects, to create one-off pieces; know that you will have and use the only piece that looks exactly like this one.

For more individuality, you can choose a piece with added detail. Some pieces have the added detail of objects found in the landscape such as tractors and trees.

The pieces are fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln
