A small handmade stoneware mug for those who enjoy an espresso at the beginning or during their day. Known as a ship mug, the shape means your coffee will stay warmer for longer. It’s very huggable too, small as it is.

Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are full of energy, individuality and serendipity in a classical blue-and-white colour combination (you just can’t beat it). Every detail is carefully considered, from the shape of the handle to the pattern on the base.

Designed as set collection set or as a mix and match group, you can choose all the same style or mix it up with an assortment of deeper blue and white lines.

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with slip coloured with natural oxides. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork. I intentionally decorate each piece differently, embracing the characteristics of handmade objects, to create one-off pieces; know that you will have and use the only piece that looks exactly like this one.  

The pieces are fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln

The mugs are dishwasher proof but as with all handmade pieces, they are better washed by hand.
